Cookie Policy
Effective Date: Aug 4, 202
This Cookie Policy explains how USA Mind Studio (“we,” “us,” or “our”) uses cookies and similar technologies when you visit our website at https://usamindstudio.com/ (the “Site”).
This Policy should be read together with our Privacy Policy, which describes how we handle personal information more broadly and outlines your privacy rights.
This Policy is designed to reflect current requirements under:
- The General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and UK GDPR (for visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland);
- The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), and comprehensive privacy laws in 19 other U.S. states (see our Privacy Policy for the full list);
- The EU ePrivacy Directive (the “Cookie Law”) on consent for non-essential cookies;
- Requirements of major analytics and advertising service providers, including Google.
1. What Are Cookies and Similar Technologies?
Cookies are small text files that are placed on your device (computer, tablet, or mobile phone) by websites you visit. They allow the website to recognize your device, remember preferences, and collect information about how you interact with the site.
We also use similar technologies, which may include:
- Pixels and tracking tags — small pieces of code that measure user behavior (e.g., which pages were viewed).
- Local storage and session storage — browser-based storage that behaves similarly to cookies.
- Software Development Kits (SDKs) — code libraries used inside third-party services embedded on the Site.
In this Policy, references to “cookies” include all of these technologies unless we specifically distinguish between them.
2. Why We Use Cookies
USA Mind Studio uses cookies to:
- Ensure the Site functions correctly and securely;
- Remember your preferences (such as language, cookie choices, or dark-mode settings);
- Understand how visitors find, use, and interact with our content, so we can improve it;
- Measure the performance of any advertising or affiliate content;
- Prevent fraud, spam, and abuse.
We do not use cookies to identify you personally without your consent, and we do not sell your personal information for monetary consideration.
3. Categories of Cookies We Use
We group the cookies used on our Site into four categories:
3.1 Strictly Necessary Cookies
These cookies are essential for the Site to function and cannot be disabled without breaking core functionality. They do not require consent under GDPR or UK GDPR.
Examples of purposes:
- Loading and displaying pages
- Security and fraud prevention
- Remembering your cookie consent choices
- Basic accessibility features
Typical retention: Session-based or up to 12 months.
3.2 Functional / Preference Cookies
These cookies allow the Site to remember choices you make (such as your language, region, or display preferences) to give you a more personalized experience.
Typical retention: Up to 12 months.
3.3 Analytics / Performance Cookies
These cookies help us understand — in aggregate and anonymized form where possible — how visitors find our content, which pages are most useful, and where the Site could be improved.
Third-party service used: Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — provided by Google LLC. GA4 uses cookies and identifiers to help us understand aggregate behavior. IP addresses are anonymized.
Typical retention: Up to 26 months (the default GA4 setting).
You can opt out of GA4 across all websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
3.4 Advertising / Targeting Cookies
If we display advertising on the Site, advertising cookies may be used to:
- Deliver ads that are relevant to your interests;
- Limit how often you see the same ad;
- Measure the performance of advertising campaigns;
- Support affiliate-marketing referrals.
Third-party services that may be used:
- Google AdSense — Google LLC.
- Affiliate networks — used only when affiliate links are present in an article; see our Affiliate Disclosure page.
Typical retention: Up to 13 months, or as specified by the third-party provider.
You can opt out of personalized advertising through the tools listed in Section 6.
4. Third-Party Cookies and Services
Some of the cookies on our Site are set by third-party services we use. These third parties operate under their own privacy and cookie policies, which we recommend reviewing:

5. Cross-Context Behavioral Advertising
Under the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) and similar U.S. state laws, “cross-context behavioral advertising” refers to advertising that is targeted based on personal information obtained across websites over time.
We do not currently engage in cross-context behavioral advertising in a way that involves the “sale” or “sharing” of your personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA/CPRA. If our advertising configuration changes, we will update this Policy and offer a “Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information” mechanism accordingly.
6. Your Cookie Choices
6.1 Cookie Consent Banner
When you first visit the Site, you may be presented with a cookie consent banner that lets you:
- Accept all cookies;
- Reject non-essential cookies;
- Customize your preferences by category.
You can change your choices at any time by clicking the cookie preferences link in the Site footer (or the equivalent tool in your browser).
6.2 Browser Controls
Most browsers allow you to view, delete, or block cookies. Here are direct guides for major browsers:
- Google Chrome: support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647
- Mozilla Firefox: support.mozilla.org/kb/enhanced-tracking-protection-firefox-desktop
- Apple Safari: support.apple.com/guide/safari/manage-cookies-sfri11471
- Microsoft Edge: support.microsoft.com/microsoft-edge/delete-cookies-in-microsoft-edge-63947406-40ac-c3b8-57b9-2a946a29ae09
Please note that disabling essential cookies may prevent parts of the Site from functioning properly.
6.3 Industry Opt-Out Tools
You can opt out of personalized advertising from many companies through these industry tools:
- Google Ads Settings — control Google-served ads across devices and browsers.
- Network Advertising Initiative (NAI) opt-out — opt out of many major ad networks in one place.
- Digital Advertising Alliance (DAA) YourAdChoices — U.S. consumer opt-out.
- European Digital Advertising Alliance (EDAA) — for European visitors.
6.4 Global Privacy Control (GPC)
We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal as a valid opt-out request under U.S. state laws that recognize universal opt-out mechanisms (currently including California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Maryland, Minnesota, Montana, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Oregon, and Texas).
If your browser or a browser extension is configured to send the GPC signal, we treat it as an opt-out of the sale or sharing of your personal information and of targeted advertising, to the extent applicable.
6.5 Do Not Track (DNT)
Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) signal. Because there is no consistent industry standard for how DNT signals should be interpreted, we do not currently respond to DNT signals separately. We do, however, honor GPC as described in Section 6.4.
7. Your Privacy Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have specific rights over the personal information collected through cookies — including the right to access, correct, delete, or opt out of certain processing.
The full breakdown of your rights and how to exercise them (including under CCPA/CPRA, GDPR, UK GDPR, and comprehensive privacy laws in 19 U.S. states) is available in our Privacy Policy.
To submit a privacy or cookie-related request, please email us at write@usamindstudio.com with the subject line “Cookie / Privacy Request.”
8. Changes to This Cookie Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time to reflect changes in:
- The cookies and third-party services we use;
- Legal or regulatory requirements;
- Editorial or operational practices.
When we make changes, we will:
- Update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page;
- Post the revised Policy on this page;
- Where changes are material, prompt you to review your cookie preferences again.
